WHAT EXACTLY IS HEALTH COACHING?

Health Coaching is about creating the conditions for someone to figure out and/or accept what their personal health and wellness issues are and how they intersect and affect them holistically.


IS SEEING A HEALTH COACH THE SAME THING AS SEEING A PERSONAL TRAINER AND/OR A NUTRITIONIST?

Not at all. Personal training and a nutritionist are their own designation and address/support different aspects of the health and wellness continuum. The addition of a personal trainer and/or nutritionist can only enhance your health and wellness journey, but the bonus of health coaching is that we address health from a holistic perspective which does touch the physical, mental and emotional side of things (areas often targeted by personal training and nutrition).


WHY WOULD SOMEONE GET A HEALTH COACH?

Some of the more common reasons someone may seek out a health coach is to get support for issues such as:

  • Weight loss

  • Stress reduction

  • Increase sleep

  • Lower risk of chronic diseases

  • Support mild issues related to mental health

  • Improved eating (including diet transformation such as meat based to vegetarianism or dairy to gluten free)

  • Desire for optimal and overall health and wellness

  • Other issues identified by the client


WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?

A LOT! Just kidding! There is no cookie cutter solution. What you are seeking and needing as an individual is very different to what someone else needs and so all plans are individualized specific to your needs. What I can say is that the process to achieving your wellness goals is a dynamic process and so activities will touch your physical, mental, psychological, spiritual and emotional being.


WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF COMMITMENT REQUIRED?

The time you put into you is the time that I offer to you! I realize that adding one more thing on a long to do list can be anxiety provoking or just down right special and so the time that you are able to reasonably commit to YOURself will determine the longevity of the program and how often we connect. What I do recommend is a minimum of a three (3) month commitment and that is really because habit change takes longer than aesthetic and/or superficial change. All programs are customized so we can come to a mutually agreed upon schedule and timeline that best suits your needs.


HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Costs associated with health coaching is highly dependent on the services desired, but more importantly individual need. With that being said, below are the ranges that one could expect to pay:

90-day Self-Care Bootcamp
$2099

Women’s Wellness and Empowerment Circle
$249 / 8 to 10 week session

Food for Wellness
Cost depends on need

1 ½ Hour Session
$175/hour
